This page shows the proper pattern to lay sod. Sod must be staggered in a pattern where the seams do not line up.

	This image shows a new square piece of sod laying across the lower portion of two other pieces, the seam of the two upper pieces is lining up with the middle of the lower piece of sod.
	This image shows an area of sod where the rows are staggered to create a checkered pattern.
	You can see how the sod lines up when laid properly. There will be gaps where pieces will be cut in half to fill the gaps at the end of completed rows.
